So this is how they did it...

I always wondered how animators are so able to imagine human movements that they can replicate them in animated form. Seeing as I never went to animation school, I know very little about the process. This seems like a logical way to go about it. I wonder if they still do this?

Rugrats/ Jackass Crossover
This one makes as much sense to me as it does to you. We just wanted to combine kids tv shows with adult shows so this one is the Rugrats gang in the Jackass world. Here, Tommy Pickles plays a young Johnny Knoxville.
Third of four comics that I was planning on using in a webcomic with my friend, comedian Eitan Levine. Unfortunately, due to copyright concerns we decided to pull the plug so we just posted them for the enjoyment of our friends.

PBS Off Book: The Art of Illustration
I subscribe to PBS Off Book on youtube because they have a lot of videos about different kinds of art. I usually find them to be really pretentious, not that this was an exception, but it is nice to hear a short summation of the history of an art form and where it is headed in the future.
This week was the Art of Illustration and I thought it was pretty cool.

Kacie D.'s Periodic Table Characters
I'm going to start using this blog, not just as another portfolio, but as a resource for inspiration to other designers. So to start off, I found this really cool project on buzzfeed. Artist Kacie D. lovingly anthropomorphized every single element. It started off as a senior thesis in character design and she later finished the periodic table.
